Day of Caring is Wapello County’s largest day of volunteer service—bringing together local nonprofits, businesses, schools, and neighbors to create real, visible impact in just one day. From revitalizing community spaces to supporting local organizations, every project moves our community forward.

8:30 – 9:15 a.m.
Volunteer Check-In
Complimentary Breakfast
Pick up your t-shirt and bag lunch
(Lunches can be delivered to project sites upon request)

9:15 a.m.
Volunteers depart for project sites

9:15 a.m. – Project Completion
Volunteer service projects take place across the community

Helpful Notes:
Breakfast is optional. If you’ve completed your waivers in advance, you may head directly to your project site.
