Join us as a Social Media Volunteer and help us make a difference in the community. As part of our team, you'll maintain our active social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and an underutilized X account with a decent following.
We're looking for 1-2 enthusiastic individuals who want to gain valuable experience in non-profit, office, and social media marketing. You'll be able to create engaging content showcasing our services and programs, such as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Community Food Pantry Gardens, our GetConnected volunteer website page, and volunteer events.
As a Social Media Volunteer, you'll also be responsible for scheduling pre-planned posts in Constant Contact, interacting with our audience and community organizations on social feeds, and helping us increase our social media following.
We're also looking to promote the importance and benefits of volunteerism to local youth, and we want to create a TikTok account to reach a younger audience. This role could be part of your Social Media Volunteer position or separate, depending on your interests and strengths.
