Grow Food. Grow Community.
The United Way Community Food Pantry Gardens bring neighbors together to fight hunger and build a healthier Wapello County. Our mission is simple: grow fresh, nutritious produce and share it with local food pantries so everyone has access to healthy meals.
Volunteers help plant, weed, water, and harvest—turning seeds into meals for families in need. You can join us for a single workday or become a regular in the garden. Every hand makes a difference.
No green thumb? No problem! Our friendly Master Gardener volunteers will guide you every step of the way, whether you’re brand new to gardening or looking to sharpen your skills.
